Our research is focused on the design and the experimental verification of integrated circuits in CMOS or BiCMOS technologies for various applications ranging from communication systems to medical imaging.
We closely collaborate with other universities, e.g. University of Pavia, Lund University, University of California Berkeley, and companies, e.g. Infineon Technologies and Intel Mobile Communications.
The ongoing projects are mainly concerned with:
Front-ends for microwave medical imaging
Ultra low power radios for wireless sensor networks
Radio-frequency circuits for high resolution radars
A collection of microphotographs of some of our designs can be found in the Chip Gallery.
